WAM Tea produces 9 different grades of tea dust tea dust based on quality for exporting and auction. The production process taken down in Wam tea factory is CTC (Crushing Tearing and Curling) processing.
All true tea comes from the camellia sinensis plant. But the different types of tea stem from the processing. Main varieties Black, oolong, Green, White, Loose tea and Tea Bags.
Black tea are oxidised and fermented during processing to give them their distinctive flavours with a full, rich taste. This variety is called Keemun.
Oolong Tea is tea that falls between a black and green Tea. It only undergoes a small amount of fermentation during processing.
Green Tea has great health benefits with light flavour. The leaves are not fermented, the taste is pleasantly fresh and herbal.
White tea leaves are picked and harvested before the leaves open fully and the buds are still covered by fine white hair.
